CHAMPIONS FIGHT HANDS A WIN TO ALONSO
New F1 season coming every year, I have to learn new regulations FIA has decided. This year has changes of qualifying system and substituting tyres for new ones. Perhaps I needs some grand-prixs whether new regulations make me fan or not. All I can say after watching a season opener of Bahrain Grand Prix is a happiness to witness battling by two World Champions, Fernand Alonso and Michael Schumacher.
Starting from the 4th grid, the last champion took over the 2nd Brazilian Felipe Massa, who was the first apperance as a Ferrari driver, and the 3rd Jenson Button of Honda, who entered with the former Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello, to make a situation to chase a pole-sitter Schumacher of Ferrari since opening lap. Pit crews of teams both Spanish and German belonged to were so marvelous that disallowed others driving between them. When M. Schmacher led the race with two pits before Aloso went to the 2nd pit, the climax of dessert Grand Prix has come with 18 laps left.
It became certain who drove through the first corner of the 40th lap. A Renault machine slightly edged out the opponent there. Afterward, Alonso was chequered to take a victory following M. Schmacher at 2nd. Kimi Raikkonen finished the 3rd from starting last grid ahead of Button 4th. And Massa was the 9th.
Alonso, Raikkonen and M. Schuacher, their racing was expected to excite me until last Grand Prix. Next Sunday is the 2nd round of Malaysia Grand Prix.
