A DISAPPOINTING GAME at NATIONAL STADIUM

J-LEAGUE

Why this game was played at National Stadium of Tokyo? It was a home-game for Shimizu S-Pulse. I feel sorry for the home-team supporters because they're robbed of the important match that should be performed in a hometown by J-League. Sorry Shimizu...

Kashima Antlers, whose midfielder Mitsuo Ogasawara left the team to depart to Italian club Messina last month, beat Shimizu on the 24th day of J-League. But both teams performances were far from my satisfaction. In spite of Kashima's consciousness to some side-attack, I was not able to take in what both players thought from almost all plays. Goals of the game were accidental as all were produced by deffensive miscues.

This is also a ploblem for Japan's national team but Japanease player, especially youngmen are lack of physical. Furthermore, they seemed to avoid one-on-one situation to pass the other under the name of "ball possession". Show me more agressiveness, youngmen!!

match result:

Kashima 2-1 Shimizu (16 Sep)*
(1-0)44' FERNANDO
(2-0)60' NOZAWA
(2-1)69' EDAMURA
*A Game Played at National Stadium of Tokyo
