OYAMA, JAPAN CANNON KOREA INTO 2nd ROUND

VOLLEYBALL

A Korean player missed to recieve the Japan's service when host Japan beat Korea 25-21, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-22 in a Pool A game of FIVB woman's world championship. Japan now wins three of four in the pool matches to improve next round before facing last first round game against Poland Sunday.

For me, it had taken long time since watching Japan's volleyball game at last. But I enjoyed Japan's speedful attackings and both team's rally seen often tonight. Especially Shuka Oyama's back attackings like cannons made me amazing and exciting enough to cheer up Syoichi Yanagimoto's women with the crowd at Yoyogi National Stadium.

I expect their next round success for gold.

match result:

FIVB World Championships Japan 2006
Women
Pool A at Tokyo (4 Nov)

Korea 1-3 Japan
*Japan into second round at Nagoya
