DEFENCE STANDS AS PATRIOTS AVOID CHARGERS
Charger's kicker Nate keading, his first field goal attempt this afternoon, kicked close wide with eight seconds left in the fourth quarter when New England Patriots earned the victory over San Diego Chargers in NFL Divisional Playoffs Sunday.
At Qualcomm Stadium, Chargers outnumbered Patriots in almost all stats including the defence made three interceptions from Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady and forced two fumbles. But Chargers offence, the best in the league, collected no point before New England's top-ranked defence in the league. To make matters worse for San Diego, thier three fumbles and penalties at the end zone helped the road team add points. QB Philip Rivers and RB LaDainian Tomlinson worked well for the home team. They can say only misfortune to me.
Although I do not understand whether Patriots are normal condition, I am glad to watch they meet Indianapolis Colts next round because I had not seen the matchup in playoffs last couple years. Brady versus Peyton Manning, Good defence versus Hyper offence, Pleasure does not run out.
