LONG SHOT RALLY LEADS SAINTS PAST EAGLES
Fun to watch long-gaining plays by runnnigbacks, widerecievers and of course quarterbacks of both. Big plays were showed before New Orleans Saints beat Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Divisional Playoffs Saturday. Saints QB Drew Brees completed 20 of 32 attempts for 243 yards and RB Deuce McAllister rushed 143 yards including long-gain 28 yards with one touchdown for the home team. In a while QB Jeff Garcia made 15 of 30 att. for 240 yards and RB Brian Westbrook had 62 yards long in 116 yards total with two touchdowns for Eagles.
Finally after watching the game, I didn't know what was a decisive factor of the match. The reason was because almost all stats is approximately equal except the number of getting firstdowns and total yards. For Eagles, who stopped winning six staraight since Garcia start for injured Donovan McNabb, they cost high after the road team collected just three points by a field goal during the fourth quarter. At the last moment, Saints defence stood in the way before them to win the game.
