NIPPON PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL INTERLEAGUE
Yomiuri Giants finished a 15-9 result in 2007 interleague games after Giants lost the last game of Interleague over Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles Tuesday. Manager Tatsunori Hara and his men had learned more than last season when Giants stoped in the series to dropped from the top to the fifth place of the Central League in the end. It seems to become effective that replacement to coaches of non-Gaiants coming from have been active.
Takao Obana, who had experienced Nippon-Series title with both Yakulto Swallows and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks as coach, was welcomed as the general pitching coach last year, and Haruki Ihara, who had played with Giants for two years but experienced league title with Seibu Lions as manager, returned old home as general fielding coach. Skipper Hara also have experienced the supreme title as manager in 2002, but he had just been given war potential by the former manager at that time Shigeo Nagashima. Recent decades, Giants had selected coaching staffs from Giant coming from. Hara, however, called Obana and Ihara to revive it as an invincible team after 2005 season when he weared the Giant uniform as the second manager of the team that had dropped the 5th place first since 1979. Then I had good feeling in his passion, LOVE GIANTS.
The season is still road middle. This season, Central League have first playoffs, Climax Series. Hara and his men's adventure lead to where coming October, I'm interested much.
