YASUDA LIFTS GAMBA TO FIRST Y.N. CUP WITH ALL AWARDS
Michihiro Yasuda, U-23 Japanese International defender, showed his existence on the field to score only goal for Gamba Osaka when the white second shirts earned the first Yamazaki Nabisco Cup over Kawasaki Frontale at National Stadium, Tokyo. Yasuda, whose goal today is the first one as a top-team player, was named MVP with the New Hero Award announced before the match.
Gamba has clear vision to promote young players and succeeded to save oneself at supreme level in spite of sending off Junichi Inamoto and Tsuneyasu Miyamoto to European clubs, it's wonderful.
Arguably, Gamba will advance up to the stage challenging ACL. I expect the team to consider victory as well as Urawa Reds in order to contribute the National team to get mature.
